This simple Photoshop tutorial assumes that you have working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop basic functions. Created using Photoshop CS.
Open Photoshop. Create a new Project >Image Size>Width: 768 Pixels, Height: 576 Pixels, Resolution: 75 dpi (not recommended for print.)
Type what were letter you like. I used letter R
On the Tools pallete double click on the color foreround color box. If you don't see the this Tool bar. Go the the Windows and click the Tools
Now choose yellow color hax code # ffc11b and then click OK.
Layer > Layer Style > Bevel and Embose. Click on the Bevel and Embose. The Layer Style Menu will open.
In the Layer Style change these settings:
Style: Inner Bevel, Technique: Hard Chisel
Depth: 138 % . Direction: Up
Size: 163 PX, Shading: 0, Angle 120 Check Global Lights
Altitude 30, Gloss Contour: Choose Cone (Check Anti Alias)
HightLight Mode: Screen, Change color Hightlight to # ecb4b4
Opacity: 100 percent
Shadow Mode: Multiply (Leave the Highlight as default Black)
Opacity: 75 percent
Then click OK
Now click on the Drop Shadow of the Layer Style and depending on the opacity click OK.
GOLD I SAY... Now you have your own gold letter.
